Self portrait on Dolly Parton, digital
Originally from New Orleans, I relocated to Portland after earning a BA in Film & Theatre Arts from the University of New Orleans, followed by an MFA in Visual Studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art. My artistic journey has taken me from interning at prominent art institutions to co-curating the Queer Art collective, First Brick, and collaborating with the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art Press during the 2019 T:BA Festival. My work has been exhibited in solo and group shows both nationally and internationally, with features in publications such as Elephant Magazine (Berlin) and Noisy Rain Magazine.
For the past five years, I’ve led the Art + Design Department at All Y’all Creative, a Queer creative agency where we’ve partnered with local and national businesses and nonprofits like The Sports Bra (Portland), The OUT Foundation (New York), Empower Body Care (Portland), and OUT Arts & Culture (Tampa Bay). Our work has garnered attention from Nike, Nordstrom, the African American Film Critics Association, Threshold Brewery, and Delta Work.
